DAN WENN aka DANNY AWES
...has been painting graffiti and street art since 1988 - picking up his first spray can at the age of nine. Over three decades in the game he's become one of Australia's most respected and recognised names in the scene, known for his photorealistic murals and graffiti letter styles and the first ever winner of War of the Words - a two hour timed graffiti battle where writers paint a word drawn from a hat. In the early 2000s he founded 90 Degrees Graffiti & Street Art, one of the world's first artist-run commercial graffiti and street art studios.
